Every year after RecSys, our community takes the time to reflect and write summaries and reviews of the conference. Wether you could not make it to the conference, or you missed a session, it is always a good idea to keep an eye on what others are thinking. Here goes the list of all the #RecSys2017 summaries published so far*

Daniel Kershaw wrote a review of the main topics of the conference, and some papers and presentations he found interesting [link]

Gustavo Penha wrote a summary of the main topics in the conferences and his personal toughts about some of the articles presented [link]

Humberto Corona (totó pampín) wrote a brief review of this year’s conference from a personal perspective [link]

Marco Creatura shared his main takeaways from the conference, and did a very interesting analysis on the large number of different evaluation metrics used in the papers for this year’s conference, being Mean Reciprocal Rank (MRR) the single most popular one. [link]

Neal Lathia wrote a very interesting review about Prof. George Loewenstein’s keynote “Recommender Systems and the New New Economics of Information” [link]

Criteo Labs who were at this year’s conference with several presentations, also shared their take on the top-10 #RecSys2017 papers not to miss[link]
